    | Composed by: | Charlie Christian - Benny Goodman |

    | C&A:
Pianist Dudley Brooks was subbing for Johnny Guarnieri on this studio
date so the piano solo was selected for elimination from the routine,
presumably to accommodate the phonograph record time restrictions (or
possibly because Brooks was not a jazz soloist – he was a very skilled
	pianist though).
Only the master take had ever been issued until release of the
	4-CD
guitar-amp box set in 2002.  The additional items had two more complete takes
and three breakdowns, one of which did not have a CC solo.  So we have six
intros but only five solos from this session.

Charlie Christian’s solos follow the same basic pattern on all takes but
there are some comparatively interesting variations on the first eight
measures;  the last eight are pretty much set from the very first take.
