C&A:

This final version of Flying Home starts out with a lone clarinet playing the theme and ends with the full blown orchestra on the last chorus.  Teddy Wilson is on piano and Jo Jones on drums (Dave Tough is now gone).

Charlie Christian gets only an eight-bar solo on the bridge, in the second chorus.  And, to worsen the matter, the recording of his short outing is missing two beats.  Nice solo, with the familiar slide to begin the F7 run.  That last part of the F7 (mm 22-23) sounds a little weird, though.

nota bene: The four notes filling in the two missing beats is a best guess
as to what CC would typically play.
